Travel Types
A little something for everyone.
Culinary
For food and wine lovers, one of the great joys of travel is experiencing local cuisine and visiting wineries while abroad. Most would also agree that wine tastes better when you’ve stood on the soil where the vines are grown. Beautiful vineyards, delicious food, and incredible wine are all essential parts of a culinary focused vacation. Help your clients taste their way through some of the most beautiful destinations in the world with our preferred Signature land suppliers. Or if you are like me, eat your way through delectable local eats. Cheers!
Active & Adventure
When most people think of Active Travel they imagine long hiking or walking trips designed exclusively for the athletically-inclined. But these days, Active Travel is about more than physical activity. As more and more people seek out unique types of trips and different ways to experience the same old destinations, the concept of active travel has evolved.
Going on an active trip doesn't only mean being on the seat of a bike or hiking up a mountain trail —the best active adventures are created when they include a balance of activity and experience. When your clients take an active trip, they will be out in nature and get a perspective on a place that most travelers don’t.
Adventure and Expedition
Cruising
Expedition cruising is about providing educational and experiential activities, focused on some combination of wildlife, geography, culture, history, and anthropology.
Expedition Cruising focuses on exploring remote and often hard-to-reach destinations, such as the polar regions, the Amazon rainforest, and remote islands. Expedition cruises tend to be more adventure-oriented, with activities such as kayaking, hiking, and wildlife viewing often included in the itinerary.
Many Expedition Cruise ships are smaller and carry fewer passengers than classic cruise ships, which can create a more intimate and personalized experience. Expedition Cruises often prioritize educational and cultural experiences, with on-board experts and local guides leading activities and discussions.
