At Olive Adventures Travel, we believe that travel should be an exciting and enjoyable experience. Our goal is to take the hassle out of planning a trip while making sure that you have the best possible itinerary. We offer three plans to fit your travel needs, and each begins with a complimentary consultation to make sure that we’re a good fit.
For our most frequent travelers, we offer a small number of annual memberships available through an annual retainer fee.

OA History
What started in 2007 as a gathering families to learn together on a weekly basis for nature hikes and science classes turned into monthly field trips and eventually morphed into a full-fledged travel company -- Olive Adventures Travel-- in 2021.
A bit about our name: Our name pays homage to Jeanine’s grandmother, Olive, whom she loved dearly. The second part of our name is a tribute to field trip company called Great Adventures, which laid the groundwork for Olive Adventures.
And the super fun part--our name is also a play on words… “olive” adventures.

Jeanine Mak, VTA
FOUNDER + TRAVEL ADVISOR
Jeanine enjoys bringing families together to learn and explore around the globe. It is her passion to instill a love for other cultures, people, and places into her client’s hearts. She recently traveled to Thailand, Amsterdam, Portugal, and the Yukon. She also serves on the ASTA San Diego Board of Directors.

Jeanine resides in beautiful north San Diego, California where she enjoys hiking the local mountains and relaxing on the coast with her family. As a wife and mom of six, she understands the demands on families and the importance of setting aside time to explore the world we live in. She finds joy spending time with her friends and family and can always be found in the kitchen cooking up something sweet to eat or brewing a delicious cup of tea.

Rich Chang
TRAVEL ADVISOR
A global adventurer, Rich has explored over 30 countries and spent 18+ years living abroad in Asia. His passions — the world's diverse cuisine, a love of oceans and sea, and delving into cultural history — fuel his commitment as a travel agent. Not only does he bring firsthand experiences, he delights in using his expertise to help clients craft unforgettable journeys, looking beyond standard tourist paths. Inspired by St. Augustine's words, "The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page," he strives to create new chapters for his clients, while dreaming of bringing his family to visit paradises like Tahiti, the Maldives, and the Philippine Islands.

Felice Szeto-Wong
TRAVEL COACH and AVID TRAVELER
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Felice's love of travel began at an early age when her grandmother whisked her away on several trips across continents to Europe and Asia Pacific. Together they traveled by planes, trains, automobiles .... and cruise ships. As a sales and marketing professional, it's no surprise that Felice has logged over 300 trips, which according to TripIt, that's enough to circle the world 33 times. She has traveled in luxury, but also knows how to travel on a budget and maximize every opportunity. Felice is pleased to partner with Olive Adventures Travel to help clients find the most unique adventures and make lifelong memories.
She currently resides in San Diego with her husband and daughter, who also share the same love of adventure and experiencing new cultures.
